What is happening?
SDxCentral is renewing its focus on its media business to accommodate the tremendous growth in audience and readership we have experienced in the past year. Effective October 1, SDxCentral Research will be a separate entity called AvidThink.
Co-Founder and CEO Matthew Palmer will continue to lead SDxCentral along with the rest of the leadership team— Editor-in-Chief Sue Marek, Managing Editor Linda Hardesty, and Vice President of Field Operations Kyle Welch.
AvidThink LLC will be led by SDxCentral’s Co-Founder and Head of Research Roy Chua.
Why is this happening?
In just a few short years, SDxCentral has become the top independent media resource trusted by business executives and IT professionals. Since the beginning of 2018, we have experienced a 40 percent increase in site membership and a 25 percent increase in unique monthly visitors. In order to maintain that leadership, we have decided to exit from the industry research business.
This change will allow SDxCentral to continue to invest in growing our media business and doing what we do best— delivering best-in-class industry news and analysis to people leading their organizations’ digital transformation.
What is the relationship between SDxCentral and AvidThink?
While both companies are independent and free to work with other organizations, SDxCentral will syndicate AvidThink content on SDxCentral.com. SDxCentral will also resell some of AvidThink’s sponsored research products.
How will this impact SDxCentral?
So far the transition and de-emphasis on industry reports have allowed SDxCentral to:
- Revamp our product portfolio to includes impression, click, and lead guarantees
- Expand SDxCentral content on Apple News and Google News
- Enable Browser Push Notifications for live updates from SDxCentral
- Launch the SDxCentral Weekly Wrap Podcast that summarizes the week’s top stories
How can I work with SDxCentral beyond research reports?
SDxCentral offers numerous solutions for organizations ranging from free options to paid content and demand generation offerings.
The free report listings correlate to the listings in our detailed online directory, which will continue to be available for free. We encourage you to claim your organization, product, and/or project listings to ensure the information is 100% accurate and up-to-date. This directory is a trusted resource used by thousands of IT decision makers and a great no-cost way to start prospects on the buyer’s journey.
For those looking to do more, paid content offerings include everything from sponsored independent content (such as ebooks, ebriefs, and branded article series) to client-written syndicated content. Moreover, recently we have reimagined our demand generation and advertising solutions to include click, impression, and lead guarantees. Learn more about our solutions here.
